Russia has banned the import of products from four Belarusian agricultural enterprises. Another one is under enhanced control

Russia has banned the import of products from four Belarusian agro-industrial enterprises. This is stated in the corresponding order of the Russian specialized department.
November 26, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision banned the import into Russia of products from four Belarusian agro-industrial complex enterprises, and specified the reasons for the ban. In the case of Borisov meat-packing plant № 1 the reason was discovery of listeriosis-causing bacteria in beef. The antibiotic benzilpenicillin was found in the sausage products of Brest Meat Processing Plant. Products of the joint limited liability company "Coscro" fell under restrictions due to the discovery of drugs in poultry meat - coccidiostatics, in particular tatrazuril sulfone. A drug from the same group (dinitrocarbonylide) was found in poultry at Unimit.
Nevertheless, the products of these companies, shipped before the date of the ban, will be able to get to Russia in the normal mode.
Strict restrictions did not affect the production unitary enterprise "Brest Traditions", but the Rosselkhoznadzor introduced a regime of enhanced control over its products - all because of the discovery of the same coccidiostatics in poultry meat.
